Automatic Clutch Torque Limiter for PTO Drive Shaft

The automatic clutch interrupts power transmission when the torque exceeds the set value. To automatically re-engage the device, slow down or stop the PTO. This torque limiter is sealed and requires no additional lubrication.

The Automatic Clutch Torque Limiter is a radial cam type that operates in 1 direction of rotation only (a reverse version is also available), ensuring that torque is transmitted to a calibrated value preset by a set of springs. After intervention, the Automatic Clutch Limiter disconnects the power transmission and cancels the transmitted torque to less than the residual pulsating torque required for continuous reset. After eliminating the cause of the spillage, the reset will be performed automatically when the transmission speed drops to a minimum value sufficient for the purpose. The calibration torque value is preset at the factory and can be changed by the user after replacing the spring assembly.

Overheating and vibration during intervention is also reduced due to minimized residual torque. The compact design, low weight, use of plain bearings and high-quality materials allow the machine to be used even at speeds exceeding 1000 rpm. The hardened slotted profiles comply with standards.
